Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Revid: the website at revid.ai, the web and mobile apps, and the Revid API, MCP server and CLI (the “Service” or “Services”). The Services are operated by Revid SAS, a company registered in France and based in Paris (“Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

These Terms are a binding contract between you and the Company. By creating an account or using the Services in any way, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is part of them. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you use the Services for a company or another organization, you accept these Terms on its behalf and confirm that you are allowed to do so.

Violation of any of the terms below may result in the suspension or termination of your account.

Account Terms

    As a Revid user:
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if it is higher.
  • You must give accurate information, and your account must be created by a person, not by a bot or another automated method. Once you have an account, you may automate your own use of the Services as described in the Automation section below.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, your sign-in methods and your API keys. The Company cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
  • You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account, including activity by members of your team workspaces, by automations you set up, and by apps or AI assistants you connect.
  • If you create or join a team workspace, the workspace owner controls its billing, members, connected social accounts and projects.
  • You may not create several accounts to get more free credits or rewards, or to get around a suspension.
  • You may not use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

Plans, Credits and Payments

  • Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance. Payments are processed by Stripe, by Apple for purchases in our iOS app, and by Lemon Squeezy for some older subscriptions. Prices and the credits included are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings (for purchases made through the App Store, from your Apple account settings). Upon cancellation, you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for and you are not charged again. After that, your account and projects can still be accessed, but exporting new videos requires an active subscription. The media of accounts without a subscription may be deleted after 90 days of inactivity, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Each plan includes a monthly amount of credits, which you spend to generate media and render videos. The app shows the estimated cost before each render.
  • Credits do not roll over. On monthly plans, when your subscription renews, your plan credits are reset to the amount allocated by your plan, regardless of how many credits you had remaining from the previous period. On yearly plans, your plan credits are brought back to your plan's monthly amount on the 1st of each month (Paris time).
  • Credit Boost packs are one-time purchases, available with an active subscription. Pack credits do not expire, are used after your plan credits, and stay on your account if your subscription ends.
  • If you turn on auto top-up, we charge your saved payment method for the pack you chose each time your credit balance falls below the threshold you set, until you turn it off.
  • Free credits given to new accounts or earned through rewards are promotional. We may change or end them at any time.
  • Credits have no cash value. They cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and unused credits are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
  • If a generation fails because of a problem on our side, we return the credits it used, in many cases automatically.
  • Subscriptions are generally non-refundable. However, refunds may be granted at our discretion if: (1) less than 10% of the subscription credits have been used, and (2) the payment was made within the last 30 days. If you face bugs or issues with your generations, please reach out to our support team so we can help you.
  • We may change our prices. A new price applies to your subscription from your next billing period after we tell you about it, and you can cancel before it applies.
  • For EU consumers: By using Revid, you explicitly consent to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you will lose your right to the 14-day withdrawal period (cooling-off period) provided under EU consumer protection laws once you begin using the Service. This is because Revid is digital content that is immediately delivered and consumed upon use.

Automation, API, MCP and CLI

  • You may automate your use of the Services through the tools we provide for it: the Revid API, the MCP server, the CLI, and Auto-Mode, Series Maker and the other scheduled automations in the app. These tools can run and publish while you are not signed in, as you set them up.
  • API keys belong to your account or workspace. Keep them secret, do not share them or put them in public code, and rotate your key from your account settings if it may have been exposed. You are responsible for all activity and credit usage made with your API keys.
  • When you connect an AI assistant or another app to Revid, for example through the MCP server, it acts on your behalf with the access you grant. You are responsible for what it does, including the credits it spends and the posts it publishes.
  • You are responsible for the settings of your automations and for the content they create and publish. Automations spend credits.
  • Access to the API, MCP server and CLI requires an active plan and is subject to rate limits, daily limits and the documentation we publish. We may change, limit or end these interfaces, and may suspend keys or connections that are abused or put the Services at risk.

Your use of the Services is subject to the following additional restrictions

    You represent, warrant, and agree that you will not contribute content to the Service or otherwise use the Services or interact with the Services in a manner that:
  • Infringes or violates the intellectual property rights, privacy, publicity rights or any other rights of anyone else;
  • Violates any law or regulation, including, without limitation, any applicable export control laws;
  • Is harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, hateful, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Sexualizes minors in any way, or shows a real person in sexual or intimate content without their consent;
  • Impersonates any person or organization, or falsely suggests that a real person said or did something (see People, Likeness and Voices below);
  • Spreads spam, scams, malware, or content designed to mislead voters, consumers or investors;
  • Jeopardizes the security of your Revid account or anyone else's (such as allowing someone else to log in to the Services as you);
  • Attempts, in any manner, to obtain the password, account, API key or other security information from any other user;
  • Violates the security of any computer network, or cracks any passwords or security encryption codes;
  • Accesses the Services through automated means other than the API, MCP server, CLI and automations we provide, or uses any means to overload the Services, get around their rate limits, credit system or safety filters, or otherwise interfere with their proper working (including by placing an unreasonable load on the Services' infrastructure);
  • “Crawls,” “scrapes,” or “spiders” any page, data, or portion of or relating to the Services, such as our viral video library, templates or examples (through use of manual or automated means);
  • Copies or stores any significant portion of the Services' own content, such as the viral video library, templates or presets, or uses the Services to build a competing product or dataset;
  • Decompiles, reverse engineers, or otherwise attempts to obtain the source code or underlying ideas or information of or relating to the Services.
  • A violation of any of the foregoing is grounds for termination of your right to use or access the Services.

Copyright and Content Ownership

  • You own the content you provide (your inputs) and, as between you and the Company and to the extent the law allows, the content the Services generate for you (your outputs). You can use your videos however you want, including commercially and after your subscription ends.
  • You give the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, transmit, adapt and display your inputs and outputs, only as needed to operate, secure and provide the Services to you, including sending them to the providers described in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law or that remain for a limited time in backups.
  • If a project's page is public (the default setting, which you can change), you also allow us to show the video, its title and its description on its public page and in galleries, examples and search results on revid.ai, until you make it unlisted or private or delete it.
  • You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload or ask the Services to use, including music, images, videos, brands and links. Outputs may be similar to content generated for other users, and may not be protected by copyright in every country.
  • Stock media, music tracks, fonts, templates and presets provided through the Services remain the property of the Company or its licensors. You may use them in the videos you make with the Services, subject to any license terms we show.
  • The Company does not pre-screen content, but reserves the right (but not the obligation) in its sole discretion to refuse or remove any content that is available via the Service.
  • If you believe content on the Services infringes your rights, email us at hello@revid.ai with the details. We will review it and remove it when appropriate.
  • If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.
  • The look and feel of the Service is copyright© to the Company. All rights reserved. You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or visual design elements without express written permission from the Company.

People, Likeness and Voices

  • You may only use the face, body, likeness or voice of a real person, including when you upload photos, create a character or an AI twin, or clone a voice, if you are that person or have their clear consent. Keep proof of that consent.
  • You may not use the Services to create deceptive deepfakes: content that shows a real person saying or doing something they did not say or do in a way that could mislead people, such as fake endorsements, fake news, or political and election content.
  • When the law or a platform requires it, you must clearly label realistic AI-generated or altered content as such.
  • We may remove content, cloned voices and characters, and suspend accounts, when we receive a credible complaint or find a violation.

Publishing to Third-Party Platforms

  • When you connect a TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or X account or a webhook, you allow us to publish the content you choose to it, and to read the data described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You are responsible for what you publish, and you must follow each platform's terms, community guidelines and advertising rules, including their rules on AI-generated and branded content. By connecting YouTube, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.
  • These platforms are not operated by the Company. We are not responsible for their availability, the reach of your posts, or the actions they take on your accounts, such as removing a post or restricting an account.
  • A scheduled post may be delayed or fail if a platform is unavailable, changes its rules or revokes our access. Check that important posts went out.

Affiliate and Rewards Programs

  • Our affiliate program is governed by the Affiliate Program Terms.
  • Rewards, such as credits or a free export earned by posting about Revid or completing missions, follow the rules shown where you earn them. We may refuse or remove rewards obtained through fraud, fake engagement or a breach of these Terms.

General Conditions

  • Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
  • Technical support is provided through the in-app support chat or by email at hello@revid.ai.
  • You understand that the Company uses third-party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, AI models and related technology required to run the Service.
  • You must not modify, adapt or hack the Service.
  • You must not modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with the Service or the Company.
  • You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service without the express written permission by the Company.
  • We may, but have no obligation to, remove content and accounts that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, violate any party's intellectual property or these Terms of Service, or we believe to use the Service to spam other users or services.
  • Verbal, physical, written or other abuse (including threats of abuse or retribution) of any Service customer, Company employee or officer will result in immediate account termination.
  • You understand that the technical processing and transmission of the Service, including your content, involves (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices.
  • We reserve the right to temporarily disable your account if your usage significantly exceeds the average usage of other Service customers. Of course, we'll reach out to the account owner before taking any action except in rare cases where the level of use may negatively impact the performance of the Service for other customers.
  • To the extent permitted by law, the Company does not warrant that (i) the service will meet your specific requirements, (ii) the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, (iii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the service, including AI outputs, will be accurate or reliable, (iv) the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the service will meet your expectations, and (v) any errors in the Service will be corrected.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the service; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the service; (v) or any other matter relating to the service.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or your rights as a consumer.
  • The failure of the Company to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. The Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements between you and the Company (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service). If a provision is found invalid, the other provisions remain in effect.

Termination

  • You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account or your access to some features if you breach these Terms, if a payment fails, if the law requires it, or if your use creates a risk for the Services, other users or third parties. When it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.
  • If we terminate your account without a breach on your part, we refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription period.
  • When your account is terminated, your right to use the Services ends and we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy. The provisions that by their nature should survive termination, such as ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law, survive it.

Governing Law and Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by French law.
  • If you have a complaint, contact us first at hello@revid.ai so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
  • If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring a claim before the courts there.

Changes to these Terms

  • We may update these Terms. We change the date below each time, and for significant changes we tell you by email or in the app before they apply. If you do not agree with the new Terms, you can cancel your subscription and stop using the Services before they apply.
  • Any new features that augment or enhance the current Service, including the release of new tools and resources, shall be subject to the Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
